Founded in 1965 the club has a long and prestigious history. The club for many years competed on a transparency basis and was the winner to the National Slide Competition (1993) and three times in the top three clubs in Scotland. The club was also several times winner of the Grampian Cup.
Our members now produce digital images, prints and slides. Some of our members also judge and exhibit successfully in National and International Photography Exhibitions.
We are a friendly and relaxed club sharing our love of photography. Photographers of all levels and experience are very welcome.
Our Meetings are normally held on a Tuesday at 7.30pm at St Andrews Episcopal Church hall (along the path at the side of the church) High Street, Banff.
Our formal meetings have ended for this season but we shall be meeting every second Tuesday (weather permitting) starting from 24th May for practical sessions out and about the local area. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome, especially beginners. We will have experienced photographers on hand to help and give you hints and tips. We will meet at 7pm in the St Mary’s Church Car Park in Banff.
