We were very pleased to welcome Alan Butterfield of Moray Camera Club, to Banff on Tuesday evening (13th) to provide us with an introduction to Low Light Photography.
Alan expertly guided us through when to take the photograph, basic camera settings and the all important what to shoot. He demonstrated with examples of his own work, which was very impressive.
The importance of using a tripod was emphasised, to help obtain those sharp images. Alan also gave us lots of useful hints and tips to obtain those perfect low light images.
Alan was an enthusiastic and informative speaker and we would like to thank him very much for coming to visit us. We will now have to get out at Twilight and get practicing.
Alan has kindly agreed to return on 2nd of February to judge our attempts. We are looking forward to welcoming him back.
Digital Submissions for the Low Light Competition are to be handed in on Tuesday 12th January.
