We were led into the world of wildlife photography on Tuesday 27th January when Bob Humphries provided us with an in depth and detailed insight into this fascinating area of photography.
The comprehensive presentation from Bob began with help on where to start with the wildlife in your own back garden. Details included the use of visual props and the techniques to use.
Bob led us through his own process, the cameras and lenses he uses as well as the other equipment he feels are part of his make up – who knew a bean bag could be so helpful.
We were then guided through hints and tips on how to get the best wildlife photographs possible, including some ideal locations.
Bob’s engaging style had us all hooked. We cannot thank him enough for a wonderful evening and can’t wait to welcome him back on the 10th March when he judges our competition entries.Image : Rough Grey by Myra Wood
